Are you fixed on the location? Each area, development, urbanization and more importantly property is different in location, every property is different.
Paperwork
Yes, properties love paperwork, you will find lots of information on the internet, from lawyers, accountants, estate agents, and of course the friend of a friend regarding paperwork.
So how do you view properties?
Do your homework, many online websites advertise properties that are sold, or priced too good to be true. Do not believe everything you see on the internet. Make a list of properties you have seen and arrange to view them. Then contact us to arrange these viewings, we can even accompany you to other agents advertised properties, (they probably already work with us) if they are registered, this is a perfectly acceptable ethical practice.

Paperwork
When viewing take notes, so you can remember each property. Take photographs, only if you have the permission of the agent / owner. Remember owners may not want their personal items photographed by a stranger. Would you?

They may be the nicest and most sociably person in the world, with the exclusive property you have been looking for, at an incredible low price if you pay a cash deposit now!!! Remember “Be Secure”, ask questions do your checks, do they have the authorization to sell the property? Who is selling the property? Location, location, location there are hundreds of factors to consider, here we have a few suggestions:
Are you set on location? Yes Spain, Yes Costa Blanca.
Remember here in Spain it is an outdoor life, we all do lots of things outdoors, we get lots of sun and there are so many different things to do and see, when you are not in your property!
Will you be driving when you are in Spain or relying on public transport, or friends to transport you; from the airport, to the supermarket, restaurants, beach or golf etc?
- Will you be living permanently or holiday home?
- Is health care important?
- Is schooling important?
- Is your leisure time important; golf, beach, sports, visiting and exploring new areas etc?
- Are neighbours important do you want to be in an urbanization / private community with communal pool or a private swimming pool?
- Are local bars, restaurants and shops important?
And finally, there must be a specific thing or things regarding the location that are important to you?
