Encebras has a  friendly bar/restaurant, a church, a monastery, a water fountain, and a Village Hall where indoor and outdoor Festivals and events are held throughout the year.  These include the `Festival of Co-existence’ where the locals gather together to celebrate unity between the different cultures.
Pinoso is just three miles away and features many bars and restaurants as well as sports facilities and entertainment venues.

The present owners have retained their property in the UK throughout their 10-year stay in Spain and are returning to the UK for health reasons which means that there is an option for this property to include all furniture, appliances and kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlery, bed linen and an extensive array of quality garden furniture and barbecue accessories.  In fact, it is ready to move into with nothing more required other than an overnight bag!

There are attractive rural views from every aspect.  The terrace is particularly attractive and offers outdoor dining and relaxing opportunities, provides views across the valley and is an excellent vantage point for observing the local wildlife which includes soaring eagles and  many more smaller birds.  In particular there is a hoopoe – a spectacular bird native to the area – which nests in one of the ancient olive trees every year.
Services
There is a pre-installed Aircon system that provides hot or cold air to all rooms without obtrusive machines being mounted on the walls, as well as a wood burning stove (Estufa) in the lounge.
The property also benefits from mains water, mains electricity and independent sewage.  Hot water is provided by an electric boiler in the Storeroom.   WiFi and telephone services are already installed.

The Garden
The plot is just over 10,000sq metres in total with the villa itself in a compact plot of approximately 2,000sq metres enclosed by a secure fence. It has a well stocked and easy-to-maintain garden containing numerous decorative shrubs and roses as well as many fruit trees.  There are several olive trees – some of which are reputedly hundreds of years old – as well as almond trees.
There is lots of outside space with a wide choice of seating areas both in the sun and in the shade with an outdoor kitchen and barbecue area as well as a giant Chess Board, Petanque Pitch and a designated area for a Swimming Pool.  At the bottom of the garden there is a freshwater well.
An irrigation system has been installed to take care of the plants and shrubs whilst the owners are away or simply as a labour-saving facility.
There is a small courtyard which can be used for car parking or as a secure compound for pets.
A neighbour has enlisted a local farmer to plant their surplus land with wheat crops and expect to receive payment when the crop is harvested.  This presents a revenue opportunity from the future use of the separate 8,000 metre field alongside the property.

Kitchen
There is a wide range of kitchen cupboards with granite worktops.  Appliances include washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and worktop items such as a halogen cooker, food processor and coffee machine.
The drawers and cupboards contain a full range of cutlery and crockery with sufficient for everyday use as well as entertaining guests.  There are also teapots, milk jugs, hot water jugs and cafetières galore.
The Lounge
This is a versatile and tastefully furnished room with quality leather settees, coffee tables, Television and DVD machine, storage units and a wide range of DVDs to enjoy on winter evenings.  There is an attractive wood burning stove (estufa) to provide winter heating in addition to the warm air option provided by the air-con system.  French doors lead directly onto the terrace with views of open countryside and space for outdoor dining or just relaxing whilst enjoying the view.
Dining Area
This contains a formal oak dining table and 6 sturdy chairs, an oak dresser and a capacious sideboard.  The table itself can be folded away so that the whole area can be arranged for formal dining, partying or just relaxing.
Bedroom 1 – the Master Bedroom
Furnished in Louis XIV style with 2 fitted wardrobes, dressing table and bed with bedside tables, lamps and an en-suite bathroom with washbasin, bathroom cabinet, toilet, bidet and a double walk-in shower.  There is also a heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2
Another double bedroom furnished with traditional Oak furniture with a wardrobe, dressing table and wrought iron double bed with bedside tables and lamps.  There is an en-suite bathroom with toilet, bath with shower, an illuminated bathroom cabinet over the washbasin and a heated towel rail.
Bedroom 3
A double bedroom currently set up with twin beds – one of which folds away under the other to create a more spacious single room if required or could be replaced by a double bed (matrimonio).   There are two chests of drawers in this room as well as a bedside shelving unit.
Casita Bedrooms 4/5
There is a Casita with direct access from outside or via the Villa kitchen.  It consists of a stylish Bedroom, En-Suite Bathroom - with toilet washbasin and a double walk-in shower - and an entrance hall currently used as an office/study that could easily be converted to a small kitchen or even used as a fifth bedroom.
This could be let out as an independent apartment or used by the owners whilst letting out the rest of the villa for B&B or self-catering accommodation.
The property has been lovingly cared for during the 10-year residency of the current occupants who have only been in residence for approximately half of each year.  The property has never been let out and there has been no damage by animals energetic children – or even boisterous guests!
Pinoso (El Pinós) is one of Spain’s richest towns, with a marble mine, thriving footwear industry, salt deposits and a booming wine and agriculture industry. The town sits located in the mountainous countryside of the Alicante wine region, 45-50 minutes drive to Alicante airport, city and beaches and close to the border of Murcia.
Pinoso has all the amenities you need: Supermarkets such as Consum, Dia, Mas y Mas and Hiperber, a wide range of restaurants including Irish and Indian and bars (50+), a 24hr medical centre, English speaking dentists, veterinary, a weekly market on Saturday and indoor market open 6 days a week. Pinoso has 3 primary schools, a high school and a music school. There is also a new cultural centre which houses a library and Spanish classes open to foreigners.

Throughout the year Pinoso has its traditional Spanish Fiestas with parades and musical performances which are renowned around the country, bonfires with a magic feeling and were people go out on the streets. There is also an annual running of the bulls (the bulls are not harmed!) which draws crowds from around the region to watch the brave participants join the bulls in the special arena.
The city Elda & Petrer is a 20 minutes drive, it has a large Hospital with English speaking doctors, a huge range of bars and restaurants, indoor shopping centre, big international gym, Carrefour, Aldi, Lidl, Cinema with English movies shown weekly, bowling and fast food outlets.
Alicante airport, city and beaches is only 45 minutes drive away.
