Los Montesinos Alicante

The little town of Los Montesinos Spain, lies about 10 kilometers west of Torrevieja.

Approximately 4,000 habitants Los Montesinos is one of the very well known villages along the Costa blanca.

Los Montesinos owes its name to the nobiliary family that ruled the destinies of the lands where the town is intertwined. Since the changes by Cardinal Belluga the whole of the Vega Baja was prospering and with it Los Montesinos, to reach the current figure of right population of 2,841 inhabitants.

Los Montesinos is surrounded by the following municipal terms:

To the North, is Algorfa and Rojales.
To the South, San Miguel de Salinas.
To the East, Torrevieja, separated by the “Laguna Salada”
And to the West, Almoradí and Orihuela.

Los Montesinos, covers approximately 15 million m2, located in the extreme south of the province of Alicante and the Valencian Community, to the south of the Vega Baja Segura region, on the lands that have traditionally formed the “field or dry land”, far from the orchard or land irrigated by the Segura River.

Located in the triangle formed by the cities of Alicante (65 km away), Murcia (49 km away) and Cartagena (64 km away), access to these cities is fast with excellent public services.

In addition, the town of Torrevieja, one of the coastal cities with the longest tourist tradition in the Valencian Community, is only 10 km away.
